Someone must have once loved me, because I’m a very well-trained, affectionate boy.  And yet, not too long ago, I was sitting at Animal Control running out of time.  SOAR found me there and brought me to the shelter so I can bring joy to someone else’s life while saving my own.  My name is JR, or Junior, and I’m an 11-month-old Terrier mix with nothing but love in my heart.  I adore people and can’t get enough attention - when I have to go back in my kennel, I’m so sad.  But I’m a well-behaved boy so I do as I’m asked.  I can sit on command (see my photo) and I can shake, too!  I walk well on a leash and I even give hugs just like a human.  I’ll put my arms around you and wait for you to hug me back.  Now am I talented or what?  I enjoy playing with other dogs and am neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention.  I would do well with anyone - whether you’re a single person or a growing family with kids.  Are you ready to meet your lifetime friend?  Give SOAR at call at 910-457-6340 and they’ll tell you how we can make it happen!
