Captain Jack is a hound/boxer mix, we think. We are estimating his age to be six months (as of 1/12/2008). He was found by a SOAR volunteer on 12/27/2007 beside the road in Currie and had been shot and left to die. But, thankfully, he lived. He has birdshot in both eyes and will probably be permanently blind so we are looking for a very special home for him. He will require extra love and care but he will return this love in spades. He's very gentle and trusting. We would like to find a home where he would have both human, and other canine company all the time.

Captain Jack is currently in a foster home so contact SOAR (457-6340) before coming to meet him.
