	Now how did a great boy like me end up in such a predicament?  My name is Buck and I was once part of a family, but my people moved away and didn’t take me with them.  To make matters worse, I ended up at Animal Control and was about to be euthanized.  Then SOAR came along, just in the nick of time, and recognized what a wonderful fellow I am.  They brought me to the shelter and now I believe my luck is on an upswing!  I’m a 7 to 8-year boy who is neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention.  I’m doing really well with sitting on command and the folks here tell me I’m “unbelievably sweet.”  That’s a direct quote!  Would you like to meet me and hopefully give me a home?  Give SOAR a call at 910-457-6340 and they’ll tell you how we can get to know each other!
