Hi there!  I’m Billy Jack and I’m a sweet-hearted Hound mix who’s been through some tough times.  I wandered up onto SOAR’s property in sad shape - I was barely more than bones and quite scared.  Thanks to good food and loving hands, I’m a new boy - in fact, they say I’m an overgrown puppy!  It’s believed that I’m about 1½-years old, and I’ve discovered that I love running around the yard and playing with any kind of toy.  I’m still a bit timid when you first meet me, but after 10 minutes in my kennel you’ll have me eating out of your hand!  My timidity doesn’t last long.  I love to be loved on and am great with children, other dogs and even cats.  I’m also neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention.  Would you please come out to SOAR and meet me?  We can play with my toys and get to know one another.  I’d be a perfect companion for anyone!  Please call SOAR at 910-457-6340 - they’ll be happy to tell you more about me.
