The Great Gatsby is a pure-bred, AKC registered Sheltie.  You can see how beautiful he is.   He has a good home now, but we need to find him a new home.  His parents have decided they must part with Gatsby because he barks and scares their young grandchildren when they come to visit.

Gatsby is a friendly and lovable dog but he has this unattractive trait, the barking mentioned above.  He barks when you leave and he tries to go with you.  He will also bark if the phone or doorbell rings, or if you sneeze.  He stops barking after a few seconds but it is disconcerting nonetheless. He’s actually a very quiet dog; except for when one of the above happens; and then he barks.

Except for the barking he is perfect.  He is 8 years old, house-trained, healthy, up-to-date on all shots, loves riding in the car, and is friendly to other animals and people.
